Illustration and Design
Here, I showcase visual solutions for clients. From logos to branding, explore the visual portfolio to see business and personal ideas brought to life with these impactful illustrations and designs.
Six Bridges Book Festival
For the past five years, I have been honored to work with central Arkansas's premier literary festival. Each design began with sketching first drafts and consulting heads of the festival. Each year, we discuss new ways to make the branding vibrant and inviting. Despite each concept being the same brand, it's important to be able to reinvent this in a variety of creative ways.
INK Global
As an international media company, Ink Global required portraits for features with a quick turn around that could be enlarged and shrunk without loss. These portraits were created digitally as a vector for that purpose.
the idle class magazine
Creating visuals for print journalism requires an ongoing conversation with the editor on the scope and intent of visuals. When director Jeff Nichols was interviewed, questions focused on his writing - the illustration emphasized this along with highlighting the Americana tonality of his work (papers positioned like stars among the faded blue background to symbolize the American flag). For smaller visuals such as Stax Records' Al Bell, colors must pop and details are simplified - creating an icon-oriented image.
south on main
When asked to curate a month of musical performances at South on Main, I jumped at the opportunity to brand and market the events. Each design reflects the brand identity of the musician's sound and performance.
